What data we collect
We collect the following information:
- Name and email address — collected when you opt in via the AI Readiness Diagnostic (at the email gate, halfway through the assessment). This is voluntary.
- Diagnostic responses — your answers to the 20-statement diagnostic are stored in your browser's
sessionStorageonly. They are ephemeral: they are cleared when you close your browser tab and are never transmitted to a server. - Usage data — Google Analytics 4 (GA4) collects anonymised usage data (page views, session duration, traffic source) in accordance with Google's privacy policy. No personally identifiable information is collected by GA4.
How we use your data
Name and email collected via the diagnostic are used to:
- Send you your diagnostic results or a follow-up summary
- Send occasional emails related to business automation for SA professional services — if you have explicitly consented
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
POPIA compliance
This site operates in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), Act 4 of 2013. You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact [email protected].
Email consent and unsubscribing
By providing your email address via the diagnostic, you consent to receiving a results summary and, optionally, follow-up educational content. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying "unsubscribe" to any email, or by emailing [email protected].
Cookies
This site uses Google Analytics cookies for anonymised usage tracking. No other tracking cookies are used. The diagnostic uses sessionStorage (not cookies) to preserve quiz state during your session.
Data retention
Email addresses and names collected via opt-in forms are retained until you request deletion. Diagnostic session data is ephemeral and not retained after your browser session ends.
