Who we are
This website is operated by Cobus van Vuuren, trading as RhinoBerry (Pty) Ltd, a South African business. Contact: [email protected].
What data we collect
We collect the following information:
- Name, email address, phone number, and business website, collected via the intake form before you start the AI Readiness Diagnostic. This is voluntary.
- Callback, speaking and event forms, if you request a callback, send a speaking enquiry or register for an event, we collect your name, email address and phone number, plus the details you choose to add (for example your business stage, venue or town). This is voluntary.
- Diagnostic responses, your answers to the 20-statement diagnostic, your score, and your results are held in your browser's
sessionStoragewhile you're taking the diagnostic (so you can leave and resume), and are also sent to our server and stored in our database when you complete it, so we can email you your results and keep a record of your submission. Optional free-text answers you provide are stored the same way. - Usage data, Google Analytics 4 (GA4) collects anonymised usage data (page views, session duration, traffic source) in accordance with Google's privacy policy. No personally identifiable information is collected by GA4.
How we use your data
The information collected via the diagnostic is used to:
- Send you your diagnostic results and a summary of what they mean
- Notify Cobus of your submission so he can follow up where relevant
- Call, WhatsApp or email you about what you asked for, and send occasional related follow-up, where you ticked the consent box (see "Contact and communication consent" below)
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
POPIA compliance
This site operates in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), Act 4 of 2013. You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact [email protected].

Who we are. Cobus van Vuuren, trading as RhinoBerry (Pty) Ltd, is the responsible party for your personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Our Information Officer is Cobus van Vuuren. You can reach us at [email protected].
What you agree to. When you tick the consent box on a form on this site, you agree that Cobus van Vuuren may contact you by:
- WhatsApp, including text, voice notes, images, documents and links
- phone calls, including calls placed through our tracking numbers
What we contact you about. Your diagnostic results, callback request, speaking enquiry or event registration; follow-up on what you asked about; and occasional related news about business automation for South African professional services firms. We will not contact you about anything unrelated.
How consent is given. You give consent by ticking the box on the form. It is voluntary. We save the date and time, the form you used, the channels, and the version of this wording you agreed to.
How often. Only as needed, and only occasionally for related news. We do not sell your information or hand it to others to market to you.
WhatsApp. WhatsApp messages are delivered through WhatsApp (Meta) and our messaging provider, Sudonum. Your number is processed by them so the message can be delivered. After you submit a form you may receive an automatic message. A person may also send you voice notes or replies.
Calls. Calls to or from our tracking numbers may be recorded and transcribed to help us serve you and check call quality.
Changing your mind. Reply STOP on WhatsApp, use the unsubscribe link in any email, tell us on a call, or email [email protected]. We act on it promptly and stop contacting you on all channels, not only the one you used. Withdrawing does not affect messages we need to send to deliver something you already asked for, such as a booking confirmation or a receipt.
Who else handles your information. Cloudflare (website hosting and our database), Resend (email delivery), Sudonum and WhatsApp (messaging and calls), TidyCal (booking), Paystack (payments), and Google and Meta (analytics and advertising measurement). Some of these are outside South Africa. We use them only to run our service.
Keeping it, and your rights. We keep your information until you ask us to delete it. You may ask to see, correct or delete your information, or object to direct marketing, at any time by emailing [email protected]. Governing law. The laws of the Republic of South Africa apply.
Cookies
This site uses Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager for anonymised usage tracking, and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure the results of our advertising. The diagnostic uses sessionStorage (not cookies) to preserve quiz state during your session.
Data retention
Name, email, phone, website, and diagnostic results submitted on completion are retained in our database until you request deletion. The in-progress quiz state held in your browser's sessionStorage (so you can resume a diagnostic you haven't finished) is cleared automatically after one hour of inactivity or when you close your browser tab. Any diagnostic you complete is retained on our server as described above, not just in your browser.

This privacy policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
